Nice to meet you! I'm Amber Paz-Csibi, an artist and art educator with 20 years of teaching experience in the Land of Enchantment. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Visual Arts Education and a Master of Arts in Curriculum & Instruction.
I am an elementary school art teacher and a ceramics and fused glass instructor at the Georgia O'Keeffe Museum. I truly enjoy inspiring people of all ages to explore the incredible world of art through creativity, curiosity, and hands-on learning.
As a board member and eNews editor for the New Mexico Potters and Clay Artists- NMPCA, I am honored to support and serve New Mexico's vibrant clay community. I am also a proud member of Glass Alliance–New Mexico.
My artistic practice centers on exploring a variety of materials and techniques, with a special focus on clay and glass. My work reflects a visual exploration of life, a spiritual journey, the beauty of nature, and the extraordinary landscapes of New Mexico. I embrace the simplicity of form, shape, color, and function, creating both decorative and functional ceramic and fused glass pieces, including wall hangings, tableware, and sculptural works.
When I'm not teaching or creating art, I enjoy spending time with my family as a wife and mother of two.
