Nice to meet you! I'm Amber Paz-Csibi, an artist and art educator with over 15 years of teaching experience in the Land of Enchantment. I have a degree in visual arts (B.A.) and in education (M.A.). I truly enjoy teaching others about the amazing world of art and am inspired by my students’ appreciation for the creative process.
I am a full-time elementary art teacher. I also offer monthly ceramics and fused glass workshops at the Georgia O'Keeffe Museum in Santa Fe, NM; Adult Program and Art & Leadership Summer Youth Program.
As a NMPCA (New Mexico Potters and Clay Artists) board member and eNews Editor, I am able to serve, support and be part of an amazing clay community in New Mexico. I am also a member of the Glass Alliance-New Mexico.
As an artist, I create while exploring a variety of mediums and materials, especially with clay and fused glass. My personal artworks are visual explorations of my life, spiritual journey and inspiration from the extraordinary landscapes of New Mexico. My style of art embraces the simplicity of form, shape, color and function. I create a range of ceramic and fused glass artworks such as: wall hangings, tableware, decorative and functional pieces. On a personal note, when I am not teaching or creating art, I am a wife and mom of two.
